In 2010 the city of Oran in Algeria will host LNG16. It is the largest event in the world dedicated to the liquefied natural gas industry, attracting more than 2,500 delegates and 200 exhibitors . Following the success of previous LNG congresses, Seoul (Korea) 2001, Doha (Qatar) 2004 and Barcelona (Spain) 2007, LNG 16 is an event not to be missed.

Tthe first structural elements are emerging and the construction site is progressing in an increasingly fast rate. In fact, 3 x 8 shift teams are working 24 hours in order to meet with the schedule for 2010
and the CCO could even be delivered three months before the contractual deadline, i.e., in November 2009.

The site includes a new five star hotel made up of 242 rooms, 29 suites, one presidential suite and a swimming pool.It will bear the hall mark of “Oran Meridien”, following the contract signed on July 31st, 2008 between Sonatrach and Starwood, one of the world leaders in hotel-business and leasing, well known through its prestigious hotels like the Sheraton, the Westin and Meridien chains.
