Everyone travelling to Turkmenistan needs a visa.
Remember to give yourself enough time to arrange your visa – it can take up to 25 working days for the authorities to authorise your visit plus 10 working days to have your visa issued.
Before you can apply for your Turkmen visa you need to obtain a Visa Support Letter (also called an invitation).

The new Hotel LACYN opens in Ashgabat
This new hotel opened in May 2009 and is centrally located on Ashgabat's Neutrality Avenue.
Constructed by the Turkish Ecol company the hotel can accommodate up to 200 guests. The eco-friendly minimalist twin-tower design coupled with its ergonomic and spacious lobby resembles the Turkmen falcon ‘lacyn’ with it's wings extended for flight.
